Flowers for Always - Stitch & Letter Retreat

The retreat begins Thursday, February 27th at 5pm and continues through Sunday, March 1st at noon.  All meals are included.   All the supplies you'll need for every project are also included - although you are welcome to bring embroidery scissors, any thread or embellishments or projects you're currently working on.

All the fun will be at Gale Nation's home studio - stitching, lettering, some other fun crafting, and we'll be wearing comfy clothes - no need to dress up!  We'll start with dinner on Thursday night and will refresh ourselves on basic stitches (and if you've never stitched or you're a little rusty, don't worry!!) Friday morning we’ll begin our first project  

We’ll be making a mini "ribbon type" sampler that will wind onto a wood spool. Amy will teach us a stitching project involving all the flowers (and stitches) and Gale will teach you how to make an adorable little notebook stuffed with cute lettering, ribbons, ephemera, & more!

We'll focus on flowers, spring, & words - introducing one new project in the morning and then spend the evenings slow stitching and using lots of trims & embellishments, and sharing stories - be prepared for lots of laughing, learning, & meeting new friends!  

Please don't feel you can't come by yourself - we're a gang of nice girls and you'll be welcomed with open arms!  You won't be a stranger for long and I look forward to meeting all of you!
